Technologies

C# / .NET (Vault API)

The Vault .NET API allows developing client-side extensions (integrated into the Vault Explorer) and standalone applications. You can manipulate files, properties, bills of materials, lifecycles and workflows.

Vault SDK / Job Processor

Vault's Job Processor allows running automatic background tasks: PDF export, property updates, synchronization with an external system... I can develop custom jobs that integrate into the existing Job Processor.

REST API (Vault Data API)

Since Vault 2025, Autodesk offers a modern REST API that opens new possibilities: integration with Web applications, data access from non-Windows platforms, automation via scripts...

Server-Side Extensions

Vault can react to server events (status changes, file check-ins...) via IIS extensions. This is the ideal mechanism for triggering automatic actions in your workflow: sending notifications, updating an ERP, compliance checking...
